$OYRADE is the native token of the Oyrade protocol. It serves multiple functions within the ecosystem, from reducing your trading costs to earning a share of protocol revenue and participating in governance decisions.

Token Details

The total supply of $OYRADE is 1,000,000,000 tokens, issued as an SPL token on Solana. The token was launched via a fair launch on Pump.fun.

Core Utilities

Fee Discounts - Simply holding $OYRADE in your wallet reduces your trading fees. No staking or locking is required. Holding 10,000+ tokens gives you a 20% discount, 100,000+ gives you 40%, and 1,000,000+ gives you the maximum 60% discount. See Fees for details on how this affects your trading costs.

Revenue Share - Staking $OYRADE entitles you to a share of the protocol's trading fee revenue. 30% of all fees collected are distributed weekly in USDC to stakers. The longer you lock your stake, the larger your share of the reward pool. See Staking & Governance for the full details.

Governance - Locking $OYRADE for a period of time converts it into veOYRADE (vote-escrowed OYRADE), a non-transferable token that gives you voting power over protocol decisions. veOYRADE holders can vote on new market creation, fee structure changes, treasury spending, and protocol upgrades. Design Philosophy

The $OYRADE token model is inspired by the vote-escrow (ve(3,3)) approach used in protocols like Curve and Velodrome. The core idea is to reward long-term commitment: the longer you hold, stake, or lock your tokens, the greater your benefits. Protocol revenue flows directly to stakers, which aligns token holder incentives with the growth and success of the platform. Governance power is concentrated in the hands of those who have demonstrated the most long-term commitment through locking.
