Funding Your Wallet

To place predictions on Oyrade, you need two things in your Solana wallet: SOL for transaction fees (gas) and USDC as the collateral for your predictions.

We recommend keeping at least 0.05 SOL in your wallet for gas, and as much USDC as you plan to trade with. Each prediction transaction costs roughly 0.001 SOL in gas.

If You Already Have SOL and USDC

If your connected wallet already holds both SOL and USDC on Solana, you are ready to go. Your balance is available immediately after connecting. No deposit step is needed since Oyrade is non-custodial and trades directly from your wallet.

If you have SOL but need to convert some to USDC (or vice versa), you can use Jupiter Exchange:

  1. Visit jup.ag and connect the same wallet you use on Oyrade.
  2. Select the token you want to swap from (e.g., SOL) and the token you want to receive (e.g., USDC).
  3. Enter the amount, review the quote, and confirm the swap.

The USDC will appear in your wallet within seconds.

If You Have Crypto on Another Chain

If your funds are on Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, or another network, you can bridge them to Solana:

  1. Go to Portal Bridge or Wormhole.
  2. Select your source chain and the token you want to bridge (e.g., USDC on Ethereum).
  3. Set the destination chain to Solana and paste your Solana wallet address.
  4. Approve and confirm the bridge transaction.

Bridged funds typically arrive within a few minutes. After bridging, you may still need to swap to USDC on Jupiter if you bridged a different token.

If You Are New to Crypto

If you do not own any cryptocurrency yet, here is the simplest path:

  1. Purchase SOL using a fiat on-ramp service like Moonpay, or buy it on a centralized exchange like Coinbase or Binance.
  2. Withdraw or send the SOL to your Solana wallet address (the one you connected to Oyrade).
  3. Once it arrives, go to Jupiter and swap a portion of your SOL to USDC so you have collateral for predictions.

Checking Your Balance

After funding your wallet, your SOL and USDC balances will appear in the Oyrade header once connected. You can also check your available funds from the Portfolio page.
