Connect Your Wallet
To use Oyrade, you need a Solana wallet. This is what holds your funds and lets you interact with the platform. If you already have one, you can skip ahead to the connection steps below.
Supported Wallets
Setting Up a New Wallet
If you don't have a Solana wallet yet, we recommend Phantom or Solflare. Both are available as browser extensions and mobile apps.
To set up Phantom:
- Go to phantom.app and download the browser extension for your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge).
- Open the extension and select "Create a new wallet".
- Write down your recovery phrase and store it in a safe place. This is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device.
- Set a password for everyday use.
Connecting to Oyrade
Once your wallet is ready:
- Go to oyrade.com.
- Click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top-right corner of the page.
- A modal will appear showing the available wallets detected on your browser. Select yours.
- Your wallet extension will open a confirmation popup. Click "Connect" to approve.
Once connected, your wallet address will appear in the top-right corner of the page, confirming that you are ready to trade.
Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone. Oyrade will never ask for them. Always double-check that you are on the correct URL (oyrade.com) before connecting your wallet.
Network Requirements
Oyrade runs on Solana Mainnet. If your wallet is set to Devnet or another test network, you will need to switch it to Mainnet Beta in your wallet's settings and then refresh the page.
Troubleshooting
If your wallet is not connecting, try the following:
- Make sure the wallet extension is installed and unlocked.
- Refresh the page and try connecting again.
- If you have multiple wallet extensions installed, disable the ones you are not using, as they can sometimes conflict.
- Ensure your wallet is set to Solana Mainnet, not Devnet or another network.
